REACTION: SONA 2011

           In his second State of the Nation Address(SONA), President Benigno Aquino III outlined the modest accomplishments of his administration and affirmed his fight against the "wang-wang" and raised it up to the next level.
          Aquino appointed well-respected Justice Conchita Morales-Carpio to be the new Ombudsman to help clean up the government and challenged his "boses, the Filipino people", to take advantage of the remaining five years of his administration to help create government that works. He encouraged them to take away negativism ,crab mentality and corruption.
         The most important part of governance is effective delivery of services particularly to the poor. A close second is transparency and accoutability, delivering services at the right price without so-called "utak wang-wang ". I sense people are fed up with blaming the past. Just fill the cases let it be in the court.
         PNOY made no mentain of the killing of journalists, although there have been 4 journalists killed in the live of duty since he started. PNOY reminds us to praise openly when government does something right and to say thank you to government employees, teacher, etc.

"Isulong ang Breastfeeding: Tama, Sapat at Ekslusibo"

           Para sa mga babae, ang pagbubuntis at pagkakaroon ng anak ang pinakamahalagang parte ng buhay nila. Dito nila ipinapakita kong anong klaseng tao sila at dito natin masasabi na ganap na tayong mga babae.Sa panahon ngayon, nauuso na ang mga natitimplang gatas para sa mga bata. Karamihan kasi sa mga ina ay nagtatrabaho sa loob man o labas ng ating bansa.Mas pinapalaganap nila ang pagbili ng gatas kaysa sa pagpapadede.
          Para sa akin, mainam pa rin sa bata ang gatas na galing sa ina. Mas masustansya ito kumpara sa mga nabibiling gatas. Para sa kalusugan ng bata at sa ina na din mismo ang pagpapadede. Lahat ng bitamina na galing sa ina ay nadedede ng bata. Nasa ina din kong paano pangalagaan ang sarili, patungkol sa kinakain nila. Gusto kong isulong ang pagpapadede sa mga bagong panganak na sanggol  hanggang dalawang taon para na din sa kabutihan ng anak at ng ina.
         Importante ang kalusugan ng isang sanggol kaya pakainin natin sila ng mga masustansyang pagkain at painumin ng tama at sapat na gatas. At kailangan din ng alaga at pagmamahal ng isang magulang para lalong makaiwas sa sakit.

"Letter to the President"

Dear P-noy,
               Have a great day sir! I am very lucky that I have given a chance to write a letter to you. By the way, how's your lovelife? I am not expecting you to answer it but I will be very thankful if you do that for me. And I also understand if you don't.
               I am hoping for you to continue what you have started. I know you had a lot more to share, to do to save the Philippines from crisis, especially corruptions. I think, politicians must stop arguing about the RH Bill. For they have ti promote anti-poverty rather than anything else.
              We know that you are intelligent because you always have a solution in our country. Yuo have all the courage and hardwork for our fellow countrymen. You deserve that position.
              Thank you for being a good leader to our country. And because of you, we are rising up from crisis. I hope you will never give up and do all your best in all the challenges.
