When we say people can't change it is analogous to saying people can't learn. I have read that when you learn something new, that knowledge fundamentally changes you. We face the same temptations to take on negative behavior, but we also build a body of experience that tells us the reward isn't worth the penalty. Comparing ourselves today from the ourselves a few years ago, we can observe that we are the same but more.
"Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the one's we've waiting for. We are the change that we seek."
Perhaps it would be worthy to contemplate on this quote."It is not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the most responsive to change." Keep growing, keep learning and keep advancing. Continuity gives us roots; change gives us branches, letting us stretch and grow and reads new heights. It is possible to change the way we think, live, and how organizations function. We just need to embrace change. After all, the bamboo that bends is stronger than the oak that resists.
